Beach Ed Friday 20th February!

Room 3 and Room 4 went to St Kilda Beach to participate in Beach Education.
We learn't about being Sun Smart, how to be safe in the water and what rips and currents are. We now know how to spot a rip or a current in the waves and what to do if we get stuck in one.

We got to play in the sand building the biggest sandcastles and sand sculpture. Check out the amazing shark sculpture Jake and his Mum, Emma built together.

Hadi built this great Volcano with his Mum, Eugene and Erfan.
We got to visit the Dinosaur Park for lunch and had a great time playing on the playground.

After lunch we had the opportunity to get into the water and put our water safety skills to the test. Everyone participated and got into the water. Thank you to all the parents who helped make this day possible.

Looks like you had a great day - so lucky with the weather too!

I liked how room 3 and room 4 went to the beach together. I enjoyed learning about being sun smart and I won't get burnt. At lunch after we ate I played on the swings with my friends. From Loti
